Gold Grows on Trees

Today the impossible has been made possible, and people are looking for pigs in the sky. Alchemists and botanic genetic engineers, Bowie Mackantire and Jackie Peet have created a tree that yields gold nuggets. There’s much debate if these trees will lower the price of gold, and perhaps make the highly useful element easily available to the general public, or will this be another advancement only enjoyed by the top percenters.

Experts speculate that this new discovery will bring a rise in sales to gold driven engines, and gold-based spacecraft navigation systems. A biding war has already begun between some of the top transportation giants trying to gain control over these trees. Bids have been going as high as one trillion dollars, with United Airlines bidding over ninety billion dollars and Uber bidding a hefty ninety-five billion dollars.

The top bidder is unknown to the public, but is known by friends as Mrs. Friday. This mysterious figure has no social media presence, which has everyone’s feathers ruffled. This woman may very well become the most powerful and influential person in our sector of the galaxy, and no one knows who she is. We can’t wait to unravel this enigma.
