Google’s new Flash Face device has gone haywire

Google’s new Flash Face technology has been having some very awkward glitches with their new face-altering device. Flash Face users have been switching their faces randomly throughout the day. Most consumers have described it as no more than an inconvenient nuisance, but a few have had some very embarrassing few hours as a result of the malfunction.

One of these unfortunate few is news anchor Helena Toollus, whose face morphed into several different faces as she was reporting the very tragic fire that occurred on the Baisley passenger freighter, which was on route to Earth’s moon.  Viewers found it especially disturbing when her face switched to that of a sweet little boy while announcing the casualties. We consider Helena a friend of the paper and would like to share our greatest sympathies with her, during this sticky wicket.

Google CEO Doris Deedlee has been fast to respond with her deepest apologies. The tall redhead explained that someone accidentally spilled hot cocoa on the remote mainframe. But an insider has told our investigators that the event was actually caused by the teenage son of Google’s head engineer, who stole his password and reprogramed Flash Face.  Hopefully, this will all be resolved soon enough for people to keep face.
