Cloud Beds Send Sleepers to the Sky

By M.B. Alexander

When cloud mattresses entered the market, they sent aqua mattresses and dream recording mattresses to the bins. I mean, who doesn’t want to be cradled in a cloud-like texture that drifts above the ground. It’s also easier to clean below the mattress since there’s no need for a frame.

But no one expected the cloud mattress elevation function to go rogue and send sleepers up to new horizons.

Imagine how these poor drifters felt when they woke up after a good night’s sleep up in the sky.

Malcolm Lovet was actually quite delighted by the whole experience, “It felt very organic to his superhero dream.” He told the paper. The only problem was that when he tried to fly, he soon realized he was no longer dreaming. If it hadn't been for his wife’s cloud mattress, hovering a bit below his own, he might have had a frightful fall.

But Malcolm and Betty Lovet decided to go with the flow, or rather with their clouds. They waited calmly for a food-air-truck to pass by and then ordered a nice cup of coffee and breakfast in bed.

Unfortunately, Walker Mason was much less enthusiastic about his alarming awakening in the middle of the heavens. “It took some time to regain control of the hover function.” He told the paper. “Once I did it was a very embarrassing experience.” Apparently, Mr. Mason likes to sleep in the nude, so his trip back home in a cloud, hovering through traffic, with only a bit of artificial cloud to cover his manly bits was somewhat cumbersome.

What can we say; “Clouds will be clouds.”
