Android Foster Care
Who are these androids that want to raise little humans without a home or active caretakers? Why do they want to help?
Humanoid, Ratina Yoppa, was kind enough to explain her motives for taking on four siblings, whose parents died in the exploitation on the Sonic Opera’s former Voyager.
Yoppa was raised by what she described as four kind humans, who took care of her since she was a young kid bot, and until she was completely upgraded to a female android with all the recent additions.
She told the paper: “I was never treated as lesser, even though I was a different form of life. They taught me the practice of love and that is a practice I would like to continue with these younglings.”
When asked why she chose not to create a human in her own reflection with perfected DNA that was more similar to her family, Yoppa responded: “I am a reflection of all that is human, so all that is human is a reflection of me. These children are human, so they are already a reflection of me.”
Many people have objected to androids raising human beings, but on the other hand, they are not offering these humans any other alternative homes. It seems that their opinion is, is that having no family is better than a tech origin family.
But on the other side of the argument stands the PARA, the Pro Andro Rights Activists, who have made the following statement: “The kindness and nurturing these humanoids offer is a great feat for all humanity. It is proof that we have managed to capture and transfer the best of what is human to another species. The fact that they want to return the love they were given shows that they do not see us as rivals, as some may have feared, but rather as a parent species.”
We at the paper are glad that the orphans are getting a home with someone who truly wants to care from them. That is all anyone can wish for.
