The Intergalactic
Space Chronicle
A Valentine to All Our Readers
M.B. Alexander
Though Valentine’s Day has been notorious for being a commercially motivated day with companies often using it as an excuse to sell you stuff, we still like the idea of a day to celebrate love. In the spirit of the day we’d like to write a Valentine card from us to you.
No matter how you decide to spend the day, whether it’s dedicated to friendly love, romantic love, or self-love, The Intergalactic Space Chronicle wants you to know that we love you!
We love you because you must have a good sense of humor if you are one of our readers. We love you because you’re an individual that is looking forward to the future, which means you must have the mental capacity to look beyond yourself and your moment in time. If you've stuck with us till now, then you must also be an optimist, because we are nothing if not optimistic around here.
We love you whether you are an organic human, clone, robot, hybrid, or mix of all of them. We love you whether you’re residing on a space colony of Mars, traveling deep in the dark of the galaxy, or a 'past human' that has just so happened to stumble upon a newspaper from the future.
We love you because you are part of this curious human experience and you are a glorious galactic citizen.
We wish you a lifetime of wonder and joyful experiences. May your mouth be blessed with tasty and your mind with adventurous stories.
Know that you are always a part of a galactic community, you’re important, and you are loved.
